What is Vacuum Excavation?
As the name suggests, this service entails excavation by vacuum so that the areas can be inspected, cleaned or removed of the dry or wet matter. This service can be engaged at the start, middle or end of a project, with few alternatives able to produce the same results. Similar to a Sydney ‘dial before you dig’ service, vacuum excavation is a non-destructive way to understand subsurface utilities or environments. If the area is not wet, then a high-pressure water hose will need to first create a slurry before the vacuuming can be conducted. If the excavated matter needs to be disposed of, this can be arranged with the support of Ready Group’s experienced vacuum excavation technicians.
Vacuum excavation is typically carried out with a Vac truck, also known as suction trucks, vacuum tankers, sewage tankers, septic trucks and more. Our vacuum trucks are a great option for non destructive digging method available to the public.
